City of Lino Lakes - Zoning Ordinance <br />5. Manufacture of materials, including but not limited to, rubber, <br />corrosive acids, petroleum and chemical products, which pose potential is <br />health and safety risks and which when produced give off potentially <br />noxious odors provided that: <br />a. All applicable Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br />requirements are satisfactorily met. <br />b. A drainage system subject to the approval of the City <br />Engineer shall be installed. <br />C. Storage areas are landscaped, fenced and screened from <br />view of neighboring uses, abutting residential zoning districts and <br />public rights -of -way in compliance with Section 3, Subd. 4.S. <br />d. Vehicular access points shall create a minimum of conflict with through traffic movement and shall be subject to approval of <br />the City Engineer. <br />e. All signing and informational or visual communication <br />devices shall be compliance with the applicable provisions of <br />Appendix C of the City Code. • <br />f. Provisions are made to control and minimize noise, air and <br />water pollution. <br />g. Exterior liquid storage tanks shall comply with the following: <br />1) All propane or LP gas outdoor storage tanks shall be <br />located in the rear yard not less than twenty-five (25) feet <br />from any property boundary lines. No tanks shall be <br />permitted in the front yard and side yard abutting public <br />streets. <br />2) Storage tanks shall be surrounded by twenty-five (25) <br />feet of open area. Storage of any kind is prohibited in said <br />open area, except equipment incidental to the storage tank. <br />Approved parking areas must be set back ten (10) feet from <br />any storage tank. <br />3) Storage tanks shall be set back from existing <br />structures, as outlined in the Uniform Fire Code, based on <br />tank size. <br />8-18 <br />
