City of Lino Lakes - ZONING ORDINANCE <br />is Parcel. A separate area of land, including a lot, having specific boundaries and <br />capable of being conveyed and recorded. <br />Park, Private. A tract of land presently owned or controlled and used by private <br />or semi-public persons, entities, groups, etc. for active and/or passive <br />recreational purposes. <br />Park, Public. A tract of land publicly owned and used by the public for active <br />and/or passive recreational purposes. <br />Parking Lot. An off-street, ground level area, usually surfaced and improved, <br />for the temporary storage of motor vehicles. <br />Parking Space. A space for the parking of a motor vehicle within a public or <br />private parking area. <br />Party Wall. A common shared wall between two (2) separate structures, <br />buildings, or dwelling units. <br />Permitted Use. Any use allowed in a zoning district and subject to the <br />restrictions applicable to that zoning district. <br />• Planned Industrial Development. A planned development that accommodates <br />industrial uses. <br />Planned Development. An area of a minimum contiguous size, as specified by <br />ordinance, to be planned and developed as a single entity containing one or <br />more residential clusters or planned residential developments and/or one or <br />more public, quasi -public, commercial or industrial areas in such ranges of ratios <br />of non-residential uses to residential uses as shall be specified. <br />Play and Recreational Facilities. Equipment customary and incidental to the <br />principal use of the site intended for the enjoyment and convenience of the <br />residents of the principal use and their occasional guests. Such facilities include <br />swing sets, play sculptures, sand boxes, picnic tables, basketball standards, <br />barbecue grills and the like. <br />Poultry Facility. A confined area or structure used intensively for raising, <br />feeding, breeding or holding chickens, turkeys and other poultry for eventual sale <br />or the production of eggs. <br />Principal Use. The primary or predominant use of any lot and/or building. <br />is Professional Office. The office of a member of a recognized profession <br />maintained for the conduct of that profession. <br />1- ?4 <br />
