• City of Lino Lakes - ZONING ORDINANCE <br />4) Preservation of existing trees in conformance with City <br />shade tree standards. <br />5) Buffer yards as defined by Section 1, Subd. 2. <br />C. All landscaping incorporated in said plan shall conform to the <br />following standards and criteria: <br />1) All plants must be at least equal to the following minimum <br />size: <br />Shade Trees* <br />Half Trees (Flowering <br />Crabs, Russian Olive <br />Hawthorn, Etc.) <br />Evergreen Trees <br />Potted/Bare <br />Root or <br />2 in. dia <br />6-7ft. <br />Balled & <br />Burlapped <br />2 in. dia <br />1-1/2 in. dia <br />3-4ft. <br />Tall Shrubs & Hedge <br />Material (Evergreen <br />or Deciduous) 3 - 4 ft. 3 - 4 ft. <br />Low Shrubs - Deciduous 18-24 inches 24-30 in. <br />- Evergreen 18-24 in. 24-30 in. <br />potted <br />- Spreading Evergreen 18-24 in. 18-24 in. <br />potted <br />Type and mode are dependent upon time of planting season, <br />availability, and site conditions (soils, climate, ground water, <br />manmade irrigation, grading, etc.). <br />2) Spacing <br />a) Plant material centers shall not be located closer than <br />three (3) feet from the fence line or property line and <br />shall not be planted to conflict with public plantings <br />based on the judgment of the City <br />3-31 <br />
