• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-146 <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WITH ISAAC SPORTS GROUP TO PREPARE A RECREATION AND AQUATIC <br />CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY <br />WHEREAS, In July of 2020 the City was notified that the Chain of Lakes YMCA would not be <br />reopening; and <br />WHEREAS, the City, as a financial partner in the establishment of the YMCA, retained certain <br />rights under the development contract to take possession of the property should it's use as a <br />recreational facility cease, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the YMCA facility is an important community asset <br />and that it is in the best interests of the community to evaluate options for it's continued <br />operation as a community center. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that <br />the proposal provided by Isaac Sports Group is hereby accepted. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Attorney is directed to prepare a Professional <br />Services Agreement for execution by the City. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 30th day of November, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />and was duly seconded by Councilmember IL / _ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Cavegn, Lyden, Ruhland, Stoesz, Rafferty <br />The following voted against same: None <br />AT 1'EST: <br />e Bartell, Ci i Cle <br />*riFtg.t.P.b3-1-1( <br />erty, Mayor <br />
