EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES
ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Pu:*suant to due call and notice thereof , a regular
meeting of the Council of the City of Lino Lakes , Minnesota was
duly held in the City Hall of said City on Monday, November 8 ,
1976 , commencing at 8 : 00 o' clock p.m.
The following members were present. T4ayor Bohjanen,
Councilmen McLean, Schneider, and Zelinka ,
and the following were absent: Councilman Karth.
Councilman Zelinka made the following motion and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT
AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the
12th day of October, 1976 , fixed a date for a Council hearing on
the proposed improvement of all of LaMotte Road as located in the
City of Lino Lakes by installation of sanitary sewer and street
restoration, being, Improvement 76-3P and
WHEREAS , ten days published notice of the hearing through
two weekly publications and ten days ' mailed notice as required
by law was given and the hearing was held_ thereon on the 8th day of
November, 1976 , at which hearing all persons desiring to be heard.
were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City,
of Lino Lakes , Anoka County, Minnesota:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered_ as proposed in the
council resolution adopted the 12th day of October, 1976 .
2. George Gotwald, of M-•lner W. Carley and Associates ,
is hereLy designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall
prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman McLean and upon vote being taken
thereon the following voted in favor of said motion • Mayor Bohjanen
and Councilmen McLean, Schneider and Zelinka, and the following,
voted against said motion: none.
Whereupon said motion was declared duly passed.
EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES
ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special
meeting of the Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota was
duly held in the City Hall of said City on Tuesday, the 26th day of
October, 1976 , commencing at 8 : 00 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor William I •
Bohjanen, Councilmen Karth, Schneider, and Zelinka ,
and the following were absent: Councilman McLean.
Councilman Karth introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORTS ON IMPROVEMENT
AND CALLING FOR A HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council adopted
April 26 , 1976 , reports were prepared by Milner W. Carley and
Associates , City Engineers , with reference to the improvement of
the land platted as Lexington Park Lake View, Lots 18 , 19 , 21 , and
23 , except the North 330 feet of the East 330 feet of said Lot 19 ,
and except the North 466 . 7 feet of the East 466 . 7 feet of said Lot 23 ,
Auditor' s Subdivision No. 151 and that part of the Southwest Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18 , Township 31 , Range 22 ,
Anoka County, Minnesota, lying South of Interstate Trunk Highway
No. I 35 W, with sanitary sewer, street restoration, water main and
miscellaneous storm sewer, and these reports were received by the
City Council on October 26 , 1976 ,
1. The Council will consider the improvement of said
area in accordance with any one of the reports or a combination
thereof and the assessment of all of the land described above and
benefited by such improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of
$1 , 550 , 000. 00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on Tuesday, the 16th day of November, 1976 , at
8 o ' clock p.m` in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and the
City Clerk-Treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Zelinka and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof : Mayor Bohjanen and Councilmen Karth,
Schneider and Zelinka, and the following voted against said
resolution: None. .
whereupon the resolution was declared passed and adopted.
