Telearye al , uza ..C'al¢ed <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota 55014 <br />RESOLUTION <br />BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Lino Lakes Village Council go <br />on record as opposing the proposed park reserve at Lino Lakes <br />because of its size, because it involves good developable <br />land and because provisions have not been made for adequate <br />reimbursement of tax loss. <br />Per the Park Reserve Board letter of April 1, 1971, we request <br />that the Park Reserve Board take no official action to estab- <br />lish a park reserve at Lino Lakes, but rather allow Lino Lakes <br />and Anoka County to develop plans and ordinances to protect <br />certain marshes, wetlands and lands abutting meandered lakes <br />and water ways. We also reiterate our vigorous objection to <br />Senate File 1237 and House File 1678 and especially those <br />parts which give the Park Reserve Board the powers of eminent <br />domain and taxation and, as an alternative, favor allowing <br />the counties and their municipalities to preserve the lands <br />within their boundaries. <br />Adopted this 12th day of April <br />, 19 71 . <br />RalpM.
