COPY <br />VILLAGE of LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />ORDINANCE RELATING TO TRAFFIC AND PROVIDING FOR <br />LOAD RESTRICTIONS <br />TED VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF LINO LATE, MINNESOTA, DOES ORDAIN: <br />SECTION 1 - By reason of deterioration, rein, snow or other climatic con- <br />ditions, Village streets ere, or may be seriously damaged or destroyed unless the <br />use of vehicles thereon ie prohibited or the permissible weights thereof reduced, <br />it is necessary that authority for such prohibition or reduction of permissible <br />weights be enacted by. the Village of Lino Lakes. <br />SECTION 2 - The Police Department or the Chairman of the Road and Bridge <br />Commission of the Village of Lino Lakes shall have, and is hereby granted, the <br />authority es to any street within the jurisdiction of the Village of Lino Lakes <br />to prohibit the use thereof by vehicles or impose restrictions es to the weight <br />of vehicles to be operated thereon whenever such street by reeson of deterioration, <br />rein, snow or other climatic conditions is being or may be seriously damaged or <br />destroyed, unless the use of vehicles thereon is prohibited or the permissible <br />weights thereof reduced. <br />SECTION 3 - Such prohibition or restriction period shall be prohibited or <br />restricted upon the recommendation of the Village Engineer when in his juent <br />any street will be unduly damaged by use, provided that the Police Department or <br />the said Chairman of the Road and Bridge Commission may initially post such street <br />and give the notice hereinafter provided, which notice so given shell be effective <br />for all purposes of this Ordinance for and during such period of time as may be <br />reasonable and necessary for the Village Engineer to examine such street nnd make <br />his recommendations. <br />
