CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-150 <br />AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECS FOR HARD COURT <br />FACILITY AT BIRCH STREET AND CENTERVILLE ROAD <br />WHEREAS, The City Council has been considering constructing hard courts on the property <br />adjacent to Fire Station #2 since 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council previously designated $375,000 of General Fund Balance <br />Reserves via Resolution 18-175. In addition, staff is recommending designating the Dedicated <br />Parks Funding from Nadeau Acres in the amount of $107,100; and <br />WHEREAS, The estimated schedule for the project is as follows: <br />Authorize Preparation of Plans and Specifications <br />Approve Plans and Specifications, Authorize Ad for Bids <br />City Opens Bids <br />City Council Awards Contract <br />Construction Begins <br />Final Completion <br />December 14, 2020 <br />March 8, 2021 <br />April 7, 2021 <br />April 12, 2021 <br />April -May, 2021 <br />July, 2021 <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />That the City Council authorizes the Public Services Director to prepare the plans and <br />specifications for the development of the hard court facility at Birch Street and Centerville <br />Road <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of December, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member _ Ruhland and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Stoesz, Ruhland, Rafferty <br />The following voted against same: Lyden Cavegn <br />afferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
