CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-153 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, 2020 SURFACE WATER MAINTENANCE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the 2020 Surface Water <br />Maintenance Project, quotes were received, and tabulated: <br />CONTRACTOR <br />TOTAL QUOTE <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. <br />Did Not Quote <br />North Pine Aggregate, Inc. <br />Did Not Quote <br />Olson's Sewer Service/ Olson's Excavating Services <br />$40,304.53 <br />Penn Contracting, Inc. <br />$97,715.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Olson's Sewer Service/ Olson's Excavating Services of Forest Lake, <br />Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding for the project is from the General Fund Streets Budget; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the <br />Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract Olson's Sewer Service/ <br />Olson's Excavating Services for the construction of the 2020 Surface Water Maintenance Project in <br />the amount of $40,304.53; <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of December, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Cavegn and was duly seconded by Council Member _ Lyden and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Stoesz, Ruhland, Lyden, Cavegn, Rafferty <br />The following voted against same: None <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, Cit>' Cler <br />� <br />fferty, Mayor <br />
