1st Reading: <br />Publication: <br />2nd Reading: <br />Effective: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 01-21 <br />ORDINANCE VACATING OAKS OF LINO PARK PROPERTY <br />The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />Section 1: Findings <br />1. The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate the property as shown <br />in Exhibit A and legally described as follows: <br />Park, Oaks of Lino; and <br />2. A public hearing was held on January 11, 2021 before the City Council in the City <br />Hall Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and <br />reasonable attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property <br />owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br />3. The Park, Oaks of Lino was platted in 1995 and is currently an undeveloped trail <br />corridor. The platting of adjacent Preserve at Lino Lakes in 2013 and Saddle Club <br />in 2015 established a developed trail system in the immediate vicinity and the <br />Park, Oaks of Lino is no longer consistent with the current Parks, Greenway & <br />Trail System Plan and is no longer needed. <br />4. It appears in the interest of the public to vacate such Park property; and <br />5. Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this ordinance. <br />Section 2: Park Vacated <br />The Park property described herein is hereby vacated. <br />Section 3: Effect <br />This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after 30 days following its passage <br />and publication according to the Lino Lakes City. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this day of , 2021. <br />1 <br />
