Project approach/work plan Our understanding of Lino Lakes’ needs The City is requesting proposals from qualified firms to perform a comprehensive water and sewer rate study. The purpose of the study is to ensure adequate funding to cover the cost of operation, current and future bonding, and to maintain adequate cash reserves to continually update and maintain the capital infrastructure. Our overall objective is to recommend rates and fees that will equitably recover the cost of providing water and sewer services to customers. Our recommended rates and fees will ensure adequate funding for operating and maintenance costs, and capital needs, while minimizing the impact on rates to the greatest extent possible.
