CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 21-18 <br /> APPROVING VOLUNTARY COST SHARING AGREEEMENT <br /> ANOKA COUNTY REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP <br /> WHEREAS,the County of Anoka, Connexus Energy, and; MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce, <br /> identified a need to promote economic development in Anoka County; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County, Connexus Energy and MetroNorth Chamber and 21 Communities within <br /> Anoka County entered into a Memorandum of Understanding("MOU") establishing a partnership to <br /> promote economic development within the County, and <br /> WHEREAS,the MOU provides for cost sharing between the municipalities of Anoka County to support <br /> continued services promoting the county-wide economic development initiative; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br /> LAKES,MINNESOTA, that the 2021 Voluntary Cost sharing Agreement is hereby approved and the <br /> Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of March, 2021. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember Ruhland <br /> and was duly seconded by Councilmember Lyden and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br /> voted in favor thereof: Ruhland, Lyden, Cavegn, Stoesz, Rafferty <br /> The following voted against same: None <br /> Ro afferty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> 7uTia e Bartell, City C erk <br /> • <br />
