The five property owners made the following
demands:
1. City construct new deep wells for all five residents.
2. If they so decide to hook up to sewer and water, there
will be no charge.
3. They shall never receive any assessments for this
improvement.
4. The dollars offered for easements by the City were out
of line and they want significant increases.
5. Want compensation for stress they have suffered over the
past year.
Action on easement acquisition is needed and Mr. Hawkins is
recommending that the City Council authorize the City
Attorney to acquire the necessary underground easements for
the West Central Trunk Sewer and Water Improvement over the
Rustic Lane properties by eminent domain.
1189 MAIN STREET, LINO LAKES, MN 55014 (612)464.5562
