Charter Commission <br /> October 14, 1999 <br /> Page 1 <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> DATE : October 14, 1999 <br /> TIME STARTED : 7:05 P.M. <br /> TIME ENDED : 8:32 P.M. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT : DeMotts, Dunn,Aldentaler,Lane,Trehus, Sullivan, <br /> Bening, Rehbine, Corson, Zastro, <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT : Bernier, Montain, Dahl, and Kenfield <br /> STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT : City Engineer,John Powell <br /> CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL <br /> Acting Chair Sullivan called the regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Charter Commission to order <br /> at 7:05 p.m. on October 14, 1999. <br /> It was noted that Dahl and Montain had excused absences. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> July 8, 1999 <br /> MOTION by Commissioner Dunn, seconded by Commissioner Trehus, to accept the presented <br /> version of the Charter Commission minutes of July 8, 1999. The motion carried unanimously. <br /> APPEARANCE - CITY ENGINEER JOHN POWELL <br /> Update on Road Reconstruction/5 Year Plan <br /> Mr. Powell distributed a memo regarding road reconstruction needs. He stated that in order to <br /> provide an estimate of the current road reconstruction needs, the City has updated the cost <br /> information from the Street Reconstruction Program report prepared at the end of 1996. This <br /> cost information was updated to reflect work completed to date and annual cost increases. The <br /> following estimates include annual increases to account for the year they are proposed to be <br /> constructed. <br /> Year <br /> Constructed Amount <br /> 2000 $ 0 (No construction) <br /> 2001 $1,040,000 <br />
