CITY COUNCIL <br /> AGENDA ITEM 1H <br /> STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br /> MEETING DATE: May 24, 2021 <br /> TOPIC: Resolution No. 21-48, Approving a Peddler License for <br /> Aptive Pest Control <br /> VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> A representative from Aptive Pest Control, 6705 Oak Grove Parkway, Brooklyn Park, <br /> Minnesota have submitted a peddler's license application to the City Clerk's office. <br /> The company representatives who would be working in Lino Lakes are Wyatt Meng, <br /> Jesus Carranza, Rebecca Yorke, Jessiny Howard, Devon Cardon, Jaden Sitteru, Brooklin <br /> Petersen, Harper Clayton, Hunter Burton, Dexter Mortensen, Tanner High, Scott Schley, <br /> Colman Petersen, Bryan Acre, Aaron Williams, Kutler Byington, Evan Mitchell, Lee <br /> Morris, Bryson Hendricks, Madison Meng, Brooklyn Byington, and Brady Abbott. <br /> The company representatives plan to travel through Lino Lakes' neighborhoods going <br /> door to door offering pest control services to interested potential clients. <br /> The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br /> The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed a background check end <br /> indicated no reason to deny the application. <br /> The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br /> review. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve Resolution No. 21-48, approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six <br /> month period. <br />
