Park Board Meeting <br /> January 3, 1983 <br /> The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called to <br /> order at 7 :00 P.M. , January 3, 1983, by Chairman Johnson . Members <br /> present; Arntzen, LeBlon, R. Johnson, Scherer, Lindy , Flannery . <br /> Absent: None . <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mr. Scherer moved to approve the minutes of December 6, 1982 as <br /> presented. Seconded by R . Johnson . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> There was discussion of the installation of bathrooms in conjunction <br /> with the Senior Citizen Center with the general consensus of the <br /> Park Board that there is not justification for the expending of <br /> $18,000 . 00 at this time for that facility . <br /> Mr. R. Johnson moved to delete the bathroom facilities from the <br /> City Hall addition . Seconded by Mrs . LeBlond. Motion carried <br /> with Mr. Scherer voting, No, and Mr. K. Johnson abstaining. <br /> CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM <br /> This item is to be on the February agenda . <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> Mr. Arntzen moved to approve the Resolution of Thanks to the Lino <br /> Lakes Lions Club for their contributions to the upkeep of Lino <br /> Park. Seconded by ,Mr. Flannery . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> DEDICATED FUNDS <br /> Mr. Volk preented a quarterly update on the amount in the Dedicated <br /> Funds . <br /> There was discussion on the enforcement of the ban on motorized <br /> vehicles in the Parks . The Park Board requested that a Police <br /> Representative be present at the February meeting and discuss the <br /> enforcability of this Ordinance. <br /> Mr. Flannery-:will present the survey hJ7* has prepared at the <br /> February meeting. <br /> Mrs . LeBlond moved to adjourn at 7: 52 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Arntzen . <br /> Aye. <br />
