Park Board <br /> n ,December 6f 1982 <br /> The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called to order <br /> by Chairman Johnson , with the following members present; R. Johnson, <br /> P. Scherer, J. Arntzen , G. Lindy . Absent; LeBlond, Flannery . <br /> MINUTES - October 4 , 1982 <br /> Mr. Scherer moved to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by MR . <br /> Arntzen . Motion carried unanimously . <br /> BATH HOUSE - COUNTRY LAKES PARK <br /> There was discussion on the size of this building, who will do the <br /> construction, what type of construction . The general consensus of the <br /> Park Board was to table this item until closer to the construction <br /> date or until after the rest of the park development has taken place . <br /> WARMING HOUSE A TTENDENT <br /> The Board discussed the :use of the rinks and asked that signs be posted <br /> as to the hours t6.1beuused exclusively by the public. Mr. Arntzen moved <br /> to rent a trailer for the City Hall Park and to hire warming house <br /> attendents for both parks . Seconded by Mr. Scherer. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> BUDGET 1983 <br /> The budget was discussed with priorities being set . Shenandoah was <br /> planned for completion. Since this was to have been completed in 1980 , <br /> this item is not to be cut. <br /> On dis(aussing Country Lakes Parks , the Board asked that if a cut is <br /> necessary in this area , that $3000 .00 be transferred from Dedicated <br /> Funds . It was also decided that the turf care program should not be <br /> cut . <br /> The Park Board requested that a reminder be sent to the members on the <br /> Budget hearing set for December 13, 1982 at 5 :30 P.M. <br /> The 'No Motorized ' vehicle signs was discussed. There was also dis- <br /> cussion of the use of the Lino Parking lot and all heavy equipment <br /> and 3--wheelers are to be kept off that parking lot . The Board requested <br /> that this be enforced by the Police Department . <br /> Mr. Johnson moved that the Police Department enforce the restrictions <br /> of no motorized vehicles to include 3-wheelers , in the parks , especially <br /> Lino Park. If an Ordinance is necessary , then one should be presented <br /> to the Council for adoption. <br /> Mr . Scherer moved to adjourn at 9 :14 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Arntzen . Aye. <br />
