December 7, 1981 <br /> Park Board <br /> The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called to order on December 7, <br /> 1981 by Ken Johnson with the following members present: Volk, R. Johnson, K. Johnson, <br /> Flannery,Arntzen. Members absent: LeBlond, Scherer. <br /> The minutes of October 5, 1981 were approved and it was noted that due to a lack of <br /> a quorum there was no meeting on November 2, 1981. <br /> Consideration of the C.I. P. Plan <br /> The Capital Improvements Plan was updated. The Board will go over preliminary plans <br /> at the January, 1982 meeting. <br /> Archaeological Survey, Country Lakes Park <br /> A motion was made and approved to give preliminary approval for an Archeological <br /> Study on Country Lakes Park. <br /> There was a motion made and approved to give Mr. Schumacher authority to get bids <br /> on an Archeological Study for Country Lakes Park construction site. <br /> There was discussion about the possibility of starting a horse trail system in the <br /> City for horse back riding. <br /> The Park Board requested the dollar figure remaining from the V. F. W. contributions <br /> for the January, 1982 meeting. <br /> The Park Board requested that a letter of appreciation be sent to the Lino Lakes Lions <br /> Club for the construction of two shelters at Sunrise Park. <br /> There was a request for a status report on the development plan for Shenandoah Park <br /> by Doris Sullivan. <br /> The Park Board discussed problems with snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles driving <br /> through parks and destroying property. They requested that the City Council restrict <br /> activity in these areas by posting signs reading "No Recreation Vehicles Allowed". <br /> The meeting was adjourned. <br />
