December 16, 1974 <br /> The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park, Recreational and Enviorn- <br /> mental Committee was scheduled for December 16, 1974. <br /> Members present: Resch, Brisson, Clausen. Members absent: LeTourneau, <br /> Kent, McGeary. Mr. McLean was also present. <br /> Due to a lack of a quorum the meeting was not called to order and the minutes <br /> of the previous meeting was not approved. <br /> There was general discussion on some of the questions to be considered by the <br /> Committee. <br /> Mr. Resch reported that he had made a series of calls concerning super- <br /> visors lfor the trailer that was to be installed at the Hall rink. He had <br /> not received support and would not be compiling a list. in this case, no <br /> trailer will be ordered. <br /> Mr. McLean also reported that Lino Park had been seeded and the gate <br /> locked to protect this work. More will be done in the Spring. <br /> m r. Mclean plans to have a meeting with Mr. Volk during the Holiday break <br /> to line up the plans fo rnext summer and establish some sort of a working <br /> schedule. <br /> The letter from Mr. Burman concerning the appointment of the Advisory <br /> Committee for planning the Park now being acRuired was discussed. Mr. McLean <br /> advised the Board that this appointment is to be made by the C-ouncii . <br /> t4r.Mclean went over the discussion with Mr. Parta and Mr. Torkildsen at <br /> -the Council meeting of December 9; 1974 He explained the points that <br /> were cleared with these men from the Anoka County Park Department. <br /> Mrs.:,Brisson had done some work on the bike trail system but since it is <br /> not completed and Mr.s LeTourneau was not present, the discussion of this <br /> subject was continued until the meeting In January. <br /> Mrs. Brission said she would remain on the Board for one more year and <br /> "lerk was instructed to contact Mr. Kent as to his plans for the <br /> `:rg year. <br />
