to be put in front of the players boxes at the Hall diamond. There was discussion oh: the fence -at ,Li.no Park. Mr. McGeary felt there was no need for the fence' to extend, so far to the West on the North line. He felt that Me. LeVessuer would have problems with snow plowing this winter. Mr. McLean explained that the fence there is necessary because of the planned planting of trees and shrubs along that border. Also, there is a hockey rink planned for that area, and the Park Department will need a place for the snow cleared for the Park parking lot. Mr. McLean also felt that this line had been cleared with 11r. LeVessuer in cooperation with the City Engineer and the City Attorney. if Mr. LeVessuer feels that he has a legimate complain he sould appear before the Council and express his objections. Mr. McLean reported that snow fence will be installed across, the East line of Lino Park and the wide gate opening in the front will be sealed with snow fence. As soon as this i.s done, 4.4r. Houle will disc the entire Park. area, apply lime and sod the Inf-ield. 11r. Robinson will then seed the remaining area. This work shouj4 ,be completed this week. The water- ing of the field will be handled by j1r. Johnson. There wil-I probably have to be hoses and sprinklers bought to be used in this Park. The well at the Park is in operation. There was some discussion of contacting the County for signs noting that this ,is .a Park area and 'Children at Play Signs' shoo, d.be installed along Old Rig:iway #3 at this location. The Clerk is to check at the Hall for such signs as these before contacting the County. Mrs.. LeTourneau and Mrs. Br i sson had ta.l`:ed about the .long range plans for .Parks in the C.i.,ty, but felt t'rcy would like to spend some time at the City Hall, locking at maps before ri_`,i ng..a report or recommendation. They will contact the Clerk as to when they will be i.n. Mr. McLean reminded the Park Board. of the smali lot .Located in Lahott's Addition on the East side of Centerville Lake. This -is a small area but some planned use should be recommended. The Clerk reported that there are several catalogs for playground equipment at the. Hall , sire will be glad ;to give them to the Board for consideration. Mr. 11cLean reported that 25% of the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds have been allocated to the Park Department for development. This amounts to about $8,000,00 over and above any amount budgeted. Mr. McLean ,aiso,,suggested that . in _the new plats containing tracts of 21 acres, the, .Park Board,should be considering the acceptance of money in r� leiu of land... These monies could be, used for the development of existing Parks. Mrs. Kendall suggested that even. in the area with .large lots, that an area be set aside for a 'Tot Lot' for the smaller children., _
