City of Lino Lakes Adopt-A-Park Program Pledge <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES ADOPT-A-PARK PROGRAM Page 2 of 2 <br /> Sponsor agrees to: Sponsor's Pledge: <br /> • perform the work to the best of their ability. I hereby pledge to the citizens of the City of Lino Lakes that I (we) will perform <br /> • observe all prudent safety precautions necessary to protect themselves and the stipulated work tasks to the best of my(our) ability and within the stipulated <br /> those that they are working with. timeframe(s). <br /> • obey all traffic and parking restrictions applicable to the work area (no <br /> vehicle shall be driven across green spaces except for unloading and It is further agreed that the City of Lino Lakes reserves the right to terminate <br /> loading of materials. this agreement at an earlier date when, in the sole judgement of the Parks & <br /> • protect all site amenities in the work area from damage during work Recreation Board, it is found that the Sponsor has not satisfied the terms and <br /> period. conditions of this agreement. <br /> • obtain written approval from Parks Department prior to any digging to <br /> avoid damage and injury from underground utilities. This agreement shall commence on n)b71� <br /> • follow all directions as defined by the Parks Department pertaining to the <br /> agreed upon work tasks. and terminate on 5jp± 19 q <br /> • completely avoid the use of unapproved fertilizers, herbicides, or <br /> pesticides without written approval and instruction from the Parks <br /> Department. Sponsor Signature: <br /> • notify Parks Department in a timely fashion ( 48 hours minimum) when <br /> spec work tasks require materials supplied by others. CtVi Date: <br /> • return all unused materials to. the Parks Department promptly after AO z ii D <br /> completing work task. <br /> • provide adult supervision for all workers under the age of 15. City of Lino Lakes Parks & Recreation Board Representative: <br /> • indemnify and hold harmless the City of Lino Lakes , its officers, and <br /> employees form all liability and claims for death, injury, or property Date: <br /> damage out of the performance or non-performance of agreed upon work <br /> tasks. Sponsor(s) acknowledge that they or their volunteers are not <br /> considered to be employees of the City of Lino Lakes or its agencies. <br /> The City of Lino Lakes agrees to: <br /> • provide all instruction necessary to complete work tasks and manage <br /> green spaces. <br /> • furnish materials (trash bags, plant materials, etc.) and equipment as <br /> necessary to complete work tasks (all equipment loaned to sponsor <br /> remains under the City of Lino Lakes's possession and shall be returned <br /> in good condition upon completion of the specific work task). <br /> • make efforts to publicly acknowledge sponsor's contribution to the Adopt- <br /> A-Park program. <br /> 5-17 <br />
