3.General Provisions VI <br /> §1007.061 TEMPORARY STRUCTURES <br /> a) Purpose. The purpose of this section is to provide for the erection of temporary structures <br /> (not including model homes,temporary real estate offices,construction trailers or temporary <br /> classroom structures for use by public or private school)needed for emergency purposes. <br /> b) Procedure.The erection of a temporary structure shall require an administrative permit, <br /> as may be issued by the Zoning Administrator,except as otherwise provided by this Chapter. <br /> c) Special Requirements. <br /> (1) Temporary structures shall be allowed as provided for in the applicable zoning <br /> district in which they are located. <br /> (2) No administrative permit shall be issued for a temporary structure unless a site <br /> plan has also been approved if applicable,or unless a building permit has been issued for a new <br /> structure,addition or remodeling of an existing structure on the property. <br /> (3) The administrative permit shall terminate six(6)months from its date of issuance, <br /> or within thirty(30)days after a certificate of occupancy has been issued by the Building Official <br /> for the permanent structure,whichever occurs first.The permit may be extended for an <br /> additional 90 days at the discretion of the Zoning Administrator. <br /> (4) Temporary structures may be placed in a required yard area,provided that no such <br /> structure may be placed within 30 feet of a public right-of-way or obstruct visibilityay <br /> intersection or driveway. <br /> (5) All applicable requirements of the State Building Code shall be met. <br /> (6) Whenever an administrative permit for erection of a temporary structure has been <br /> issued,a similar application for an administrative permit for erection of a temporary structure <br /> shall not be considered again by the Zoning Administrator for at least one(1)year from the date <br /> of approval. <br /> 3-116 <br />
