3.General Provisions VI <br /> 1. The keeping of animals is allowed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter <br /> 503. <br /> 2. If all Animal Shelters on a property do not exceed a total of 64 square feet in <br /> area,then they shall not be counted towards the maximum number and size of accessory <br /> buildings. <br /> 3. Animal shelters are limited to a maximum of 60 inches in overall height. If a <br /> shelter exceeds 60 inches in height,it is not allowed the exception to accessory building number <br /> and size in paragraph 2. <br /> (i)aRural and Residential Zoning District Accessory Buildings. The following <br /> summarizes the maximum number,size,and height of accessory buildings allowed in an individual <br /> parcel according to lot size and residential district. For the purposes of this section,lot size for <br /> metes and bounds properties shall include roadway easements. <br /> 1. One detached accessory building not to exceed 120 square feet is allowed on each <br /> property.This structure shall not count toward the total number of allowed accessory structures. <br /> -172_Twenty (20) Acres or Greater. (R, R-X, R-BR, R-1, R-IX—,R—E-C, and PSP <br /> Districts) <br /> a. No maximum combination of accessory building(s) and garage(s) size <br /> requirement. <br /> b. Metal buildings and pole barns acceptable. <br /> c. Fabric or vinyl canopy structures acceptable. <br /> d. No maximum height requirement. <br /> e. One (1) attached garage not to exceed one thousand two hundred (1,200) <br /> square feet or equal to the size of the house foundation,whichever is greater. <br /> 20. Ten(10)to Less than Twenty(20)Acres. (R,R-X,R-BR,R-1,R-1X4, z- C,and <br /> PSP Districts) <br /> a. The combination of accessory building(s)and garage(s) shall not exceed the <br /> greater o£ <br /> i. Ten thousand(10,000)square feet,or <br /> ii. 1.85%of the lot area,not to exceed fifteen thousand(15,000)square feet. <br /> b. Total allowable accessory building space shall be limited to the following: <br /> 3-22 <br />
