AGENDA ITEM <br /> STAFF ORIGINATOR Marty Asleson <br /> DATE April 1, 1994 <br /> TOPIC Trappers Crossing Update <br /> AChGR01 ND <br /> Please find attached a copy of the trail crossing from Trappers <br /> Crossing to Birch Park with the developers best estimate of the <br /> shortest wetland area to span. I have walked this area with Kate <br /> Drewery, the Administrator for the Rice Creek Watershed and it <br /> appears that this area is probably as short as anywhere. <br /> I also met with Jean Cummings to look at the concerns that she had. <br /> As you recall, Jean had some concerns for land-locked parcels, <br /> trail liability concerns, and concerns for developing her land to <br /> the west. I will update you on these concerns at the meeting. <br /> We have the potential to add to our park acreage totals to come <br /> closer to standard needs for this area, particularly if dedication <br /> is taken on the south-west side of the park when jean Commings <br /> develops the area to the west. I will bring an overlay to <br /> illustrate this. <br /> tIFTIONS : : : : <br /> This is update information. The request to purchase additional <br /> land in regards to the peninsula will need to be on the next <br /> council work session for information transfer. <br /> ON <br /> None at this time. <br />
