Motion passed unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS• <br /> CPTED: Jeenie Keenow, Community Service Officer, Lino Lakes <br /> Police Department was present to discuss Crime Prevention Through <br /> Environmental Design (CPTED) . She explained that CPTED is <br /> working with local planning departments in helping to design <br /> security, in various stages of construction or existing <br /> structures. The goal that is trying to be reached is to give <br /> recommendations on security, on new developments and parks, to <br /> the departments or councils involved. A recommendation would be <br /> made on what could be done about crime and the fear of crime in a <br /> particular area such as a park, neighborhood, or industrial area. <br /> George stated that this was a very timely issue because at the <br /> State of the City meeting one individual was concerned about <br /> 3 <br />
