Call to Order and Roll Call <br /> (The meeting was called to order at 6:30p.m. Present: George Lindy, <br /> Bill Kusterman,Pam Taschuk, Katie Boyle,and Mike O'Connor. Absent: <br /> Paul Montain and Pat Huelman.) Also present was Rick DeGardner,Public <br /> Services Director. <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes from July 1, 2002 <br /> (Bill Kusterman made a motion to approve the July 1, 2002 minutes. Katie <br /> Boyle seconded the motion and the minutes were approved.) <br /> 3. Setting Agenda <br /> (There were not additions or deletions.) <br /> 4. Open Mike <br /> (There was no one present for open mike.) <br /> 5. Review Behm's Century Farm 6`h-10'h Additions—Preliminary Plat <br /> (There was a consensus that the plan is agreeable but the board needs <br /> assurance the city will get 4 to 5 acres of contiguous developable park land.) <br /> 6. Recreation Update <br /> (Rick reviewed and there were no questions.) <br /> 7. Park Update <br /> (Rick reviewed and there were no questions.) <br /> 8. Old Business <br /> a. Birch Park Trail Update <br /> (Rick recommended to proceed with the project and award the bid to <br /> Global Specialty Contractors,Inc. and designate approximately $60,0000 <br /> of undesignated park dedication funds to the Birch Park trail project. <br /> Pam Taschuk made a motion, seconded by Michael O'Connor to <br /> proceed with Rick's recommendation.) <br /> b. Woods of Baldwin Lake Park Playground Equipment Update <br /> (Rick gave the members an update on this issue.) <br />
