Call to Order and Roll Call <br /> (Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm. Members Present: George Lindy,Michael <br /> O'Connor, Katie Boyle,Pat Huelman,Paul Montain, and Bill Kusterman. <br /> Members Absent: Pam Tashuk. Also present: Rick DeGardner, Public Services <br /> Director and Stephanie Kopp, Intern.) <br /> 2. Approval of Minutes from May 6, 2002 <br /> (Paul Montain made a motion to approve the May 6,2002 minutes. Michael <br /> O'Connor seconded the motion and the minutes were approved.) <br /> 3. Setting Agenda <br /> (There were no additions or deletions.) <br /> 4. Open Mike <br /> a. June 10, 2002 Letter from Mr. Art Hawkins <br /> (Determined that it was not practical to proceed with proposed trail due to financial <br /> constraints and that affected landowners not aware of proposal.) <br /> b. Request to Convert All Playground Areas to Wood Fiber <br /> (Determined that not financially feasible,and will continue to use wood fiber for <br /> future playgrounds.) <br /> 5. Establish 5 Year CIP <br /> (Several suggestions were made such as including estimated commercial/industrial <br /> revenue, reduce proportion of cash to land to 50%-50%, Do not identify specific <br /> projects but attach summary of possible park and trail improvements. Actual <br /> projects will be determined based on needs and opportunities.) <br /> 6. Discuss Concession Permit Requests <br /> (Staff will research issue further and report back this fall. Several members want to <br /> consider options such as receiving percentage of the profits, exclusive agreements, <br /> etc.) <br /> 7. Recreation Update—May and June <br /> (Rick reviewed update and answered questions.) <br /> 8. Park Update—May and June <br /> (Rick reviewed update and answered questions.) <br />
