7. Recreation Department Update <br /> (Rick went over the update prepared by staff. He touched on the Options Program, <br /> Safety Camp, and the Party Wagon. He said Breakfast with Santa has been <br /> relocated to St. Joseph's Church, and mentioned the winter family event being <br /> planned with Wargo Nature Center staff.) <br /> 8. Parks Department Update <br /> (Rick went over the update in the packet. He told members that benches and picnic <br /> tables will be placed in Arena Acres Park next spring. He answered questions <br /> members had.) <br /> A. Quail Ridge Boardwalk <br /> (After Rick's presentation and discussion Pam Taschuk made a motion to remove <br /> the Boardwalk at Quailridge. Motion was seconded by Chris Welsand and <br /> approved.) <br /> B. Behm's Century Farm Park Development Update <br /> (Rick told members that he was going to be getting bids to install an irrigation <br /> system this fall. Trails will also be graded by the developer this fall.) <br /> 9. Trails Update <br /> (Rick read the memo in the packet and answered questions the members had.) <br /> 10. New Business <br /> (There was discussion on the joint meeting with the City of Hugo and Anoka <br /> County. Members want to discuss the park dedication ordinance for residential and <br /> commercial/industrial development at a future meeting. Staff will do research and <br /> compile information for the meeting.) <br /> 11. Next Park Board Meeting <br /> (The next Park Board meeting is scheduled for November 1, 1999, 6:30pm, at City <br /> Hall.) <br /> 12.
