Approval of Minutes from January 4, 1999 <br /> (Pam Taschuk made a motion, seconded by Sharon Lane to approve the January 4, <br /> 1999 minutes. Motion passed.) <br /> 3. Setting Agenda <br /> (Rick revised the agenda to consider Item#13 as Item 6. The agenda was passed as <br /> revised.) <br /> 4. Open Mike <br /> (No one was present for Open Mike.) <br /> 5. Review of Amended Preliminary Plat, Clearwater Creek 3rd Addition <br /> (After discussing this item Jeff Schoenbauer summarized the consensus <br /> is that the plat concept is supported but there is a need to fine-tune <br /> the active park area. He mentioned that the developer or his <br /> representative will attend a future meeting so the Park Board's issues <br /> can be negotiated.) <br /> 6. Discussion of Submitting DNR Trail Linkage Grant <br /> (After discussion Paul Montain made a motion to authorize staff to submit <br /> an application for 1999 Cooperative Trail Linkage Program for $45,000 of matching <br /> grant funds. Pam Taschuk seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.) <br /> 7. Accept Donation from FLAAA <br /> (Paul Montain made a motion, seconded by Pam Taschuk,to thank the FLAAA <br /> for their generous donation and approve the use of the $2,500 donation to offset <br /> the cost to install a new infield,backstop, and bench area for City Hall Park <br /> Field 1 which is estimated to cost$7,000, with $4,500 funded from the park <br /> dedication fund. Motion passed unanimously.) <br /> 8. Review of 1999 Park Board Goals <br /> (George requested that the "do survey" by Arena Acres tennis courts be removed. <br /> He also said the goals should also include committing $4,500 from dedicated funds <br /> toward improving Field 1 at City Hall Park.) <br />
