West Shadow Lake Extension—Rick Carlson <br /> (Ted Mattke was present to talk about this project. No action was <br /> required.) <br /> 6. Request for Fencing Along New Trail Segment on Arrowhead Drive <br /> (Paul Montain made a motion that Rick DeGardner, Mr. Simons, and <br /> staff would work together to take care of the fencing problem to <br /> property owners satisfaction. Seconded by Joe Schmidt and approved.) <br /> 7. Environmental Inventory and Management Plan Focus Group <br /> (Rick asked members to attend the October 29th and 301h Environment <br /> Planning Project meetings.) <br /> 8. Recreation Department Update <br /> (Rick read memo and answered questions about some of the programs.) <br /> 9. Parks Department Update(Rick read memo.) <br /> A. 1998-99 Skating Rink Locations and Hours (Rick read memo. <br /> Board agreed to rink locations. Thought Rice Lake Elem. School <br /> was a better location than Country Lakes Park.) <br /> B. Park Improvements Update (Rick read memo and had slide show <br /> to show members how nice the parks are looking.) <br />
