Rick read a letter from Kent <br /> Strege, LLPD about trails and vandalism. <br /> The Sunrise Park playground equipment will <br /> be raised April 25 . Rick presented a memo <br /> from Mr. Hoffman regarding their concerns <br /> with the fields at the Centennial Middle <br /> School . After discussion on the <br /> Shenandoah ParkPam Taschuk made a motion <br /> that the City Council be made aware of the <br /> importance of the replacement of playground <br /> equipment and the appropriateness of using <br /> general funds dollars versus use of dedicated <br /> funds for these replacements, seconded by <br /> Sharon Lane. Motion carried. ) <br /> 13 . Friends of the Park Update 8 : 45pm <br /> A. Review New Plaque <br /> (Rick presented a memo from Barry outlining <br /> the last Friends meeting. Rick showed the <br /> members the new plaque that will be used <br /> in the parks for any significant donation. ) <br /> 14 . Bond Referendum 8 : 55pm <br /> (Rick indicated that a finalized proposal <br /> should be presented to City Council in <br /> April for final approval . If approved the <br /> referendum would go to the public for a vote <br /> on Saturday, June 13. ) <br />
