CITY OF LINO LAKES PARR BOARD MEETING <br /> MONDAY, OCTOBER 6, 1997 <br /> 6 : 30PM <br /> ***AGENDA*** <br /> 1 . Call to Order and Roll Call 6 :30pm <br /> (Everyone was present except Betty Piper. Also in <br /> attendance was Barry Bernstein and Sandie Wood) <br /> 2 . Approval of Minutes 7/7/97 and 8/4/97 6 :35pm <br /> (Both sets of minutes were approved as written) <br /> 3 . Open Mike 6 :40pm <br /> (No one present) <br /> 4 . Trails - Update 6 :45pm <br /> a. Clearwater Creek trail (Barry will have an update, from <br /> Marty Asleson, for the next Park Board meeting) <br /> b. 1996/1997 Trail Paving (There was discussion about the <br /> trails scheduled to be paved this fall. No action taken) <br /> 5 . Anoka Electric Easement - Update 7 : 15pm <br /> (AEC will start obtaining permits. Staff will negotiate a <br /> fair trade) <br /> 6 . Park Dedication Fees - Update 7 :25pm <br /> (After lengthy discussion it was decided the new director <br /> will research commercial and park dedication and respond to <br /> the board in the future) <br /> 7 . Parks - Update 7 :35pm <br /> a. Sunrise Park (Barry presented the three projects that <br /> will be done in Sunrise with Tiff money. The project <br /> includes installation of a new backstop, hockey rink <br /> restoration, and new playground equipment) <br /> b. Rice Lake Estate Park (Marty Asleson is working on this <br /> project and updates will be brought to the Park Board) <br /> 8 . YMCA - Update 7 :50pm <br /> (Barry explained what he has learned at the last two <br /> meetings and will keep the board informed of the status of <br /> this project) <br /> 9 . Friends of the Park - Update 8 : 00pm <br /> (Golf event and tree sale was discussed at their last <br /> meeting and approximately $5000 was raised from these two <br /> events. Barry said the committee is looking for new <br /> members) <br />
