Approval of Minutes from 3/3/97 6 : 35pm <br /> (approved as written) <br /> 3 . Open Mike 6 :40pm <br /> (no one present to speak) <br /> 4 . North Metro Recreation Update 6 :45pm <br /> (Barry did presentation - members urged him <br /> to be cautious if he enters into an <br /> agreement. Barry is taking this item to the <br /> council work session on 5/7/97 . He will <br /> come before the Park Board when he has more <br /> information) <br /> 5 . Anoka Electric Easement Acquisition 7 : 00pm <br /> (The Park Board went on record to say they <br /> are in favor of working with Anoka Electric <br /> as long as AEC agrees to restore the wetland. <br /> We should also maximize our return on this <br /> project. ) <br /> 6 . Recreation Update 7 : 20pm <br /> A. Video Presentation (Safety Camp video - <br /> great program! ) <br /> B. Field Reservations (Barry reviewed and <br /> answered members questions) <br /> 7 . Park Update 8 : 00pm <br /> A. City Hall Park - Playground Construction <br /> (Barry discussed the two plans that were <br /> drawn up by staff. Paul Montain made a <br /> motion to accept Option B with minimal <br /> grading and proceed at great speed. Kim <br /> seconded the motion with the addition that a <br /> post or a gate be put in to stop traffic from <br /> driving on the trail. Motion passed <br /> unanimously. ) <br />
