PARK BOARD MINUTES <br /> March 5, 1990 <br /> acre in size. <br /> The board discussed the reaction a teen center may have to <br /> the residents living nearby. <br /> Jenean stated that residents adjacent to a possible Circle <br /> Pines site. The residents were pretty receptive with only <br /> three concerns. <br /> The board discussed using CDBG (Community Development Block <br /> Grant) funds for donating money. <br /> MOTION: Bill Nissen moved to recommend to the City Council <br /> to consider using CDBG funds to donate to the United <br /> Community Network, Inc. group to go towards the development <br /> of a Teen Center. Candy Toffoli seconded the motion and the <br /> motion was approved unanimously. <br /> The parcel of land that Don Volk spoke about is south of the <br /> freeway, east of Sunset in the 3rd Block, between Gladstone <br /> and Fairmont . <br /> CONSIDERATION OF A MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR WAYNE AND CHERYL <br /> NELSON. <br /> This is a one acre parcel within the original Ulmer' s <br /> n Subdivision. The board will see many subdivision of this <br /> type in the future. <br /> The applicant is asking for the creation of three sewer-sized <br /> lots. <br /> MOTION: John Bauman moved to recommend to the city council <br /> acceptance of park dedication for Wayne and Cheryl Nelson <br /> consisting of three lots at $400. 00/lot. Candy Toffoli <br /> seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously. <br /> PARK DEDICATION FOR OAK BROOK A CONCEPT PLAT , BOB ADAMSON. <br /> Don Volk stated that this concept plan has numerous problems <br /> that need to be ironed out. <br /> There are five - 2 1/2 parcels planned for this site. It is <br /> located in a very remote little knoll, only accessible from <br /> one roadway. It is also southwest of the current park land <br /> in Otter Bay. <br /> Bill Nissen suggested claiming easements for trails into this <br /> area. <br /> After further discussion a motion was made. <br /> MOTION: Bill Nissen moved to recommend to city council to <br /> accept a cash dedication for five - 2 1/2 acre lots located <br /> Page 6 <br />
