APPENDIX C <br /> COMMENTS ON THE LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL, <br /> BOARDS AND STAFF <br /> A new mayor for lower taxes. <br /> Less administration personnel at City Hall and more money spent on other <br /> programs such as parks. <br /> A new tax assessor. <br /> 1 think we have a good mayor. <br /> Look into Mr. Rheinart on Council, where he is in real estate -- a definite conflict <br /> of interest. I think the Council should be more courteous to residents. <br /> (Rheinart) <br /> A Council with backbone. <br /> Less government, specifically city administration staff. Much smaller Public <br /> Works Department -- also better police and fire, a new police chief is much <br /> needed. <br /> Better planner for working with people not against. <br /> People on top of things in our office, including secretaries! <br /> A few more people to be unbiased on the City Council! and know what they are <br /> x talking about.Very much like dealing with city offices. <br /> Bad attitudes of city employees. City Engineer--all admin office do not work well <br /> with people; therefore hurt citizens and all services cost more in our pockets. <br /> Have been pleased in my dealings with police and bldg. inspector. <br /> The desk clerk needs more manners. <br /> (We need) a bigger more professional police department. <br /> (Best thing about Lino) The service center and its fine coordinator--she really <br /> deserves a raise. <br /> More council members like Mr. Bohanjen. <br /> We need a new council that will think about residents equally not just a selected <br /> few with certain names. On the east side some have to have 10 acres -- some <br /> 5 acres -- some may sell small lots if their name is right. <br /> A better city council (general)! <br /> I have not been satisfied in my dealings with the city council. <br /> The Lino Lakes police department is a "joke" and embarrassment to Lino Lakes. <br /> The worst thing is the city council. We need a council that stops taking bribes. <br /> One time was enough! and that was 30 years ago, Remember?? <br /> Need good leadership in city government...too many influences from business <br /> people. <br /> Need a fair leadership not swayed by who and what they say. <br /> 52 <br />
