Page - 1 - Park Board Minutes PARK BOARD MEETING MARCH 7 , 1988/MINUTES The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called to order at. 7: 00 p. m. by Chairman Ray Johnson, Monday March 7 , 1988 at the Lino Lakes City Hall . Members present: Chairman Ray Johnson, Ken Johnson, Bill Nissen, Candy Toffoli , Bob Williams , and John Bauman. Also present were: Don Volk-Public Works Director, Harold Bisel-City Council Liaison , and Connie Husby Secretary. Members not present : George Lindy CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES : Ken Johnson made a correction in the February Parkboard minutes . Correction as follows : Last Page: It stated that money was available for parks person . It should have read that money will hopefully be available in the future for a full-time parks person. MOTION: Ken Johnson moved to accept minutes as corrected. John Bauman seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously. UPDATE : PARK PLANS - RESHANAU LAKE ESTATES SO. ERICKSONS 2ND ADDITION Don Volk said the first phase of this development was fine, but was violated by not coming back to the Park Board. Therefore with the second phase of the development the Park Board will be looking at a new Park Dedication ! The Park Board should work hard to try to get high ground (dry land) for their park. Some of the land will be under water. The Park Board would like to get the east side of the property. (This would be on the same side as the tower) . BRADLEY STREET ISSUE: Scott Rebelke - 7519 Jeanne Drive, Scott brought another petition - he didn' t get all of his neighbors to sign it. Scott stated the money would be better spent for upgrading r� the existing Leonard and Bradley Parks . UPDATE: CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN Don Volk reviewed the park situation by year. The Park Board looked at the long range plan for our parks . Chairman Ray Johnson requested soccer fields at City Hall Park. Don
