AGENDA ITEM y '
STAFF ORIGINATOR Marty Asleson
DATE July 28, 1993
TOPIC Woods of Baldwin Lake Master Plan Progress
.......:............. .
..BACRGR UND.
A motion was made at the last Park Board meeting to recommend to
proceed with the development of the mini park in the Woods of
Baldwin Lake, and to plan the development of the park using Brauer
and Associates before proceeding. Since we have only had a couple
of weeks between meetings the only step that we have taken so far
is setting up a meeting with Brauers' Environmentalist to do a site
analysis. I will be meeting with her on Thursday, July 29 and will
update you on any conclusions that might be drawn by Monday.
n
Jeff Schoenbauer thought that it might take up to a month to go
through the process. After we have some visual materials drafted,
perhaps we should invite public review of the plan before they go
to the Park Board for approval. This could be some evening at
City Hall for a couple of hours.
CUlMETDN
Proceed according to the planning process, including public review
however you feel would be most appropriate in this instance.
