Three neighborhood meetings have been held. Priorities indicated are listed as following: 1,. Upgrade playground equipment $9,000-$12,000 2!. Engineering $1,500 3. Supervision $500 4. Grading $800 5. Seed $860 6. Bench (2) $600 e1 7. Picnic Table $300 8. Timber edger & misc. hardware $1200 Total------------------------------------ ----- 14,760-$17,760 Plantings were also indicated. These can be ordered with our next years wholesale purchases. I have gone forward with a site engineering plan, and will bring it to the Park Board meeting. There were several concerns about drainage on the site. I have also contacted three playground equipment companies to quote a play-pod type structure with additional swings and a slide. one further note that residents indicated is that of the higher density residential homes of people living along Jeannie Drive and east must go a mile or so to get around to go to the park. As indicated in our comprehensive plan the trail extension east along the Bradley Street right-of-way seems to be an important trail link to establish in the future. Perhaps for now we can simply clear a pjath through the point of least resistance. There is an area between the houses on Jeannie where Bradley comes through where we may have some wet conditions to look at. , I have walked this area with the resident to the north.
