V(f Wc,r YTI SURVEY LAMOTTE PARK ,.� LINO LAKES PARKS AND RECREATION JUNE 5 1993 This is a follow-up survey to the neighborhood meeting that was held on the evening of June 3. This survey will help the Lino Lakes Park and Recreation Board better determine need and interest in types of park elements that could be placed in the park. The following items were brought up at the meeting, please check or comment: YES NO 1. Plantings---------------------------------------- -�- --- COMMENTS Trees THIS AREA SHOULD BE LEFT AS A "GREEN" AREA. There's a ball park down the Street and a Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park right across t e ake. 2. Volleyball--------------------------------------- --- -�- COMMENTS Let people bring their own sets vs. something permanent it would be nice not to have any permanent structure, other than benches. 3. Playground Equipment----------------------------- --- -I- COMMENTS People can bring their own badmitton, volley ball sets, kite flying, etc. , to play with. There's a beautiful beach and playground(in fact several, near by - one right at Centerville sc oo .) 4. Picnic Table-------------------------------------- --- -�- COMMENTS Would have to have receptacles for trash prefer benches set among trees. 5. Bench-------------------------------------------- X- --- COMMENTS There's a swing set in almost everyone's yard in the neighborhood. This area could be a very relaxing, pleasurable and:la beautiful addition to an area that could become very congested on a dead-end street. OTHER COMMENTS: Need signs saying "No Ball Playing" - AND - "Please clean up after pet dumpings" (this "park" is routinely used daily by area residents as a dog potty area and should not continue especially if small children may be playing there.
