Schilling, Principal <br /> October, 1987 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The following report presents an analysis of park dedication fees of fourteen <br /> (14) cities selected from within the Seven County Metropolitan Area. The cities <br /> included are as follows: <br /> r-� Arden Hills Coon Rapids <br /> Eagan Eden Prairie <br /> Lakeville Little Canada <br /> Mahtomedi Oakdale <br /> Roseville Shoreview <br /> White Bear Lake Woodbury <br /> Vadnais Heights White Bear Township <br /> The process of selection included in first priority those local governments <br /> immediately surrounding Vadnais Heights, second those cities in which a <br /> substantial amount of residential and/or commercial-industrial development is <br /> occurring (Eagen, Eden Prairie Woodbury) and finally some randomly scattered <br /> cities (Coon Rapids, Oakdale, Lakeville, Mahtomedi) . The analysis included both <br /> the examination of schedules for land as well as cash dedication formulas or <br /> fees. <br /> LAND AND CASH nEDICATION <br /> Table 1 illustrates the land dedication formulas or fee perc_�ntage :`or eleven of <br /> fou-teen c _es. +lf the local overnments have a land dedication <br /> formula based upon a sliding scale depicting a percentage of the dwelling site <br />
