i no
Jakes
POLICE DEPARTMENT From the Desk of the Chief
1189 Main Street • Lino Lakes, MN 55014 464-8944
Lino Lakes Park Board Committee September 21, 1987
City of Lino Lakes
I appreciate being made aware of your concerns regarding the City Parks
and areas that we may be of assistance. Part of that assistance by the
Police Department has been in securing the parks at nite. We feel this
has worked out rather well and are certainly going to make every effort
to assist the parks department. It appears we have had but a few problems
in this effort.
The Police Departments Policy on this is to patrol the park areas during
there patrol shifts and secure them at the closing time when available to
do so. Service calls to the public and police calls are to take priority.
We certainly have had a busy year and patrol time and calls for service
have increased. I can assure you that we will continue to assist the parks
department.
If there are questions, please feel free to contact me. The Police Department
is proud of the efforts made through the Park Board Committee in providing
first class parks for our citizens to enjoy.
"--
Dean H. Campbell
Chief of Police
