PARK BOARD <br /> February 2 , 1987 <br /> Page Three <br /> BMX TRACK <br /> Ray Johnson asked whether the City has received a certificate of <br /> insurance from the new BMX track association . Mr. Volk said that <br /> the association has been notified that this certificate is needed <br /> and has not yet been received . Mr. Johnson made note that the <br /> insurance policy which the association has obtained is through <br /> Lions International . <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> None . <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Mayor Benson - Communication Between Council and Park Board <br /> Mayor Benson commended the Park Board on the work done during the <br /> last year and notified them that a joint meeting of the Park <br /> Board , Council and Planning Board is being scheduled for the near <br /> future. <br /> Minor Subdivision for Donald McShannock and Minor Subdivision for <br /> Vernon Wahlberg <br /> The Board reviewed the two requests for minor subdivisions - one <br /> from Donald McShannock and one from Vernon Wahlberg . These two <br /> minor subdivisions will go before the Planning and Zoning Board <br /> at their February , 1987 meeting . In each case the park dedication <br /> requirement which the Park Board felt was appropriate per the <br /> ordinance was $160 per dwelling unit . <br /> MOTION : Ken Johnson moved to recommend to Council that $160 be <br /> collected from Donald McShannock and $160 be collected from Vernon <br /> Wahlberg as satisfaction of park dedication for their respective <br /> minor subdivisions . Motion seconded by Ray Johnson and carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8 : 25 P .M . <br />
