As you know, residents have raised funds to purchase additional items for our park. Currently,Friends of the Park should have$2,070.00 in their account that is designated for our park(that is, $910 of resident donations,a thatching$910 grant from Friends of the Park,and$250 receivod from Saturn of White Bear Lake). After this purchase,we will have$118,00 remaining in the Friends of the Park a000unt as designated for our park. We have additional donations coming in,which we will be forwarding to Friends of the lark soon. Contingent on Park Board approval,we will purchasing additional items in the near future,with the goal of completing the comprehensive plan for our park. FYI,we also have agreement from Moline, Concrete to donate several concrete picnic tables(exact number is TBD--Louise Fisher is working this). As you mentioned earlier,we assume the City will provide concreto slabs and concrete for above items. Also,as we get closer to park installation time,I will contact you regarding plaques we need for some of, the businesses that donated to the park.
