These steps are ranked in order of importance.
1. Develop a governing structure - an operational plan to determine
the appropriate steps to be taken.
2. Survey target population - determine needs and interests.
3. Identify a plan of action
4. Host a Kick- off Activity
5. Solicit Sponsorship
6. Funding a mechanism - Governmental Policy- stating that a certain
percent of the population is handicapped, therefore that percent of
funds allocated goes to programming.
7. Approach City Councils individually for program funding
8. Show/ Educate public
Our next Activity was to begin taking each of these 8 steps
and "Fine Tune" our actions and determine time lines .
TARGET AREA #1 DEVELOPING A GOVERNING STRUCTURE
ACTION TIME LINE
1.
