The decision to discontinue the contribution is
,.., linked directly to the demise of the North Metro Recreation Commission. As you are
aware, Lino Lakes elected not to join the work of the commission, but instead elected
ADMINISTRATION to provide its own recreational program. In fairness to the five cities the school
district serves, we volunteered to make an annual contribution to the commission and
SUPERINTENDENT to the City of Lino Lakes. Also, in fairness, we cannot elect to continue our annual
John 6 McClellan contribution to the City of Lino Lakes and neglect the other four cities; and the
780-7610 y g
community education program can ill afford to make voluntary contributions to all five
DIRECTOR OF cities.
INSTRUCTION
Clifford W.Holman
780-7607 I'd like to commend the city's recreation staff for their cooperation with the school
DIRECTOR OF district's community services department. Also, I'd like to thank the City of Lino
BUSINESS AFFAIRS Lakes for taking the lead in providing recreational services to area residents. I wish
Warren W.Tester you continued success in your endeavors.
780-7601
DIRECTOR OF Since y your
PERSONNEL
Larry E.Jablinski
780-7608
Lar J In
Director of Personnel and
Community Services
Xc: Cathy Wyland, Community Relations Director
"An Equal Opportunity Employer"
Printed On Recycled Paper
