Good planning spreads "value" throughout the site, or in other words gives
most homes great views and a sense of individuality. Highland Meadow
achieves outstanding views to virtually everyone, not just a select few as is
common in conventional single family developments. Planning design by
"Coving" the single family lots as used in many developments in the Twin
City area, and using modern techniques in the townhome area will make a
beautiful and exciting development to drive through and live in.
First let's look at how the "townhome" section of this development:
.e r , Scenic views abound throughout the
site from within the townhomes. Many
overlook large interior open space, and
the buildings are not jammed up
. against the public roads as common
with many other developments.
Another desirable feature that is
unusual for townhomes is that there are
- no interior units...all are end units
with many windows that allow
blending of interior space to the
exterior environment.
This area is nestled between a grove of
trees at the southeast corner of the site.
You can imagine how beautiful the
view is from within the home and in
patio areas looking at these trees from
within every townhome in this area.
There are many units that will also
have pond views.
To achieve an open landscaped feel, paving is kept to an absolute minimum,
and lawn areas are placed to give the effect of being more important than
paving. Lawn regenerates and remains beautiful indefinitely when
maintained. Paving quickly deteriorates and is expensive to keep beautiful.
Public street paving width in the townhome areas is kept to 28 feet wide.
