1 <br /> City of Lino Lakes <br /> Park Board Meeting <br /> February 3, 1997 <br /> couple of weeks and will report back at the next Park Board <br /> meeting. <br /> Miller South Glen: Marty said Rick Carlson contacted Mary Kay <br /> Wyland about the proposed park dedication for Millers South Glen <br /> Addition and for the future development project south of West <br /> Shadow Lake Road. Mary Kay called Marty about a what if <br /> scenario, that being, what if he does not develop the area off of <br /> West Shadow Lake Drive. He wants to give the dedication, that he <br /> intended to give, but, get a credit for the additional land to be <br /> used in the future park dedication. Marty read the letter that <br /> Tedd Mattke had brought in for the members packets . <br /> MOTION• <br /> A motion was made by George Lindy but after discussion the motion <br /> was amended to read, the Park Board does not accept the <br /> dedication proposal as written, and requests that Rick Carlson <br /> attend the next Park Board meeting to discuss this issue. The <br /> motion was seconded by Pam Taschuk and approved unanimously. <br /> ^� Friends of the Park Golf Tournament Update: Barry reported the <br /> tournament will be held at Chomonix Golf Course on July 19, 1997 . <br /> He said the first meeting went well and he will bring more to the <br /> committee as it develops. <br /> 'University of Minnesota Prolect: Marty said he is going to the <br /> University of Minnesota on February 6 to look at the projects the <br /> students did on Sewer District V Environmental Inventory. <br /> Part-time Employee Job Descrivtion: Marty included the job <br /> description he wrote for the part-time Recreation Programmer that <br /> will be hired in 1997 . He said this person will focus on teen <br /> programming. He would like to proceed with advertising for this <br /> position. He would like to hear Park Board Members comments on <br /> this description. Pam wanted to know how many hours this person <br /> would work. Barry said it would be approximately 25 hours per <br /> week. Joe wanted to know what the possibility of hiring someone <br /> with a bachelors degree on a part-time basis. Barry thought we <br /> would hire someone that has recently graduated from school and <br /> needs experience. Sharon asked if it was possible for this to <br /> become a full-time position. Marty said yes that is where we are <br /> ,*O*N headed. <br /> New Park Board Members Interview Questions: Marty handed out a <br /> memo, he sent to Dan Tesch, with questions to ask potential Park <br /> 5 <br />
