At the last work session, the City Council <br /> discussed the process, and that the Park Board should review the <br /> petitions and make a decision. <br /> The five petitions are included in your packet as well as the <br /> cover letter that accompanied the letter at the council meeting, <br /> and Concept "A, B,C" from the masterplan design process. <br /> Marilyn Anderson, our City Clerk has reviewed these petitions. <br /> Please find attached a copy of Marilyn' s comments. <br /> OPTIONS: <br /> 1 . Act on the individual petitions 1-5. <br /> 2 . Defer back to staff for further review. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: These petitions need to be looked at in terms of <br /> the needs as presented in our Comprehensive Plan, and the <br /> carrying capacity of the park now and in the future. <br /> One of the petitions, the hockey rink is highly dependent upon <br /> MUSA land expansion.
