Council Member Neal introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 53 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING WETLAND BANKING CREDIT PURCHASE <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is responsible for replacing wetlands impacted by the <br /> Highway 49 and Highway 23 Intersection Project, <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Wetland Conservation Act sets certain rules related impacts to <br /> wetlands, <br /> AND WHEREAS, the regulatory unit responsible for administering the Wetland <br /> Conservation Act is the Rice Creek Watershed District, <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes intends to purchase wetland banking credits to <br /> fulfill its responsibility to replace impacted wetlands from the Highway 49 and Highway <br /> 23 Intersection Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Mr. Bob Walls for the purchase of wetland banking credits. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council thi*1h1998. <br /> van, Mayor <br /> Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk-Treasurer <br /> The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br /> Member Bergeson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br /> favorthereof: Bergeson, Dahl, Lyden, Neal, Sullivan. <br /> The following voted against same: none. <br /> Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted. <br />
