Playground equipment proposals will be on display at the Parks and Recreation
Department, 7204 Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, Minnesota 55014, at the following dates and times:
Thursday, June 11, 8am— 7pm
Friday, June 12, 8am— 5pm
Monday, June 15, 8am—5pm
Tuesday, June 16, 8am—6pm
The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers to help install the new play
structures. Playground installations will be held on a Saturday sometime between August and
October. We have already received tremendous support for the Birch Park playground
equipment. However, we are still in need of securing volunteers to help install playground
equipment at Shenandoah Park and Lino Park. Please call the Parks and Recreation Department
at 780-1885 if you are interested in assisting the installation of playground equipment. By
utilizing neighborhood volunteers we are able to realize a approximately 25 percent more
equipment than if we had the playground equipment vendors install the equipment.
Sincerely,
Rick DeGardner
Parks and Recreation Director
RD:sw
sw/rick/volunteer residents playground installation letter.doc
